Dussera Celebrations Sept 28 to Oct 6th
Dussera Navrathri’s are from September 28, 2011. Dussera is on October 6th. During the Navratrhi celebrations, temple is open all evenings from 7pm to 9pm. Anagha devi will be decorated as the 9 forms of the divine mother.
During the 9 days of the Navrathri celebrations, we are looking for sponsors to sponsor the Devi’s Decorations, Saree and flowers.
Sponsorship per day is $301.00, Please contact at the earliest to sponsor a day during the Navrathri celebrations. $101 from your per day sponsorship will be used for cook and serve program at the Calgary Drop In Center.
During the 9 days, there will be a daily activity by way of discourses and devotional singing/chanting.

September 3 & 4 – Temple closed.
Temple will be closed on September 3 and 4.
Sept 3 – Composers Day celebrations
We are happy to celebrate the Composers day at Cardel theater on Sept 3rd 2011. As a result the temple will be closed on Sept 3rd and 4th.

August 17 – Discourse on Ramana Maharishi by Guruji Pattabiram
Baghavan Ramana Maharishi condensed the entire essence of our ancient knowledge into 30 beautiful verses.
In this session, Sri. Pattabhiram will guide us through chanting of these verses along with systematic contemplation on the truths revealed through these verses.
7:30pm -9:00pm.
Kids Camp – August 19 2011
We are happy to inform you of an upcoming Kids Camp on August 19, 2011.
This is a 1 day camp and includes lot of activities.
- Yoga – Yogic Kriya (eg. Tratakas – to improve Memory and Concentration)
- Yogasanas – Surya Namaskar
- Meditation for kids
- Pranayama
- Mantras and Slokas
- Arts
- Games
- Simple Dance movements
- Creative Talent Show
The camp is designed for kids 5 and up.
Camp activities start at 8:00am and go on till 5:00pm, kids may be dropped off at 7:30am and picked up in the evening after 5pm upto 6:30pm.
Please fill out the attached Registration form and return it with your registration fee of $50.00 (per child) by August 15th.

About the Facilitators:
Smt. Jyothi Pattabhiram and Guruji. Pattabhiram, disciples of Swami Rama of the Himalayas and directors of Sadhana Sangama Trust, based in Bengaluru, India. Sadhana Sangama is dedicated to Spirituality, Dance, Music and Holistic Education on a Gurukula model. Smt.Jyothi is an accompolished Bharatanatyam Dancer and a passionate teacher. Her performances blend the art of dance and the science of yoga. Guruji Pattabhiram is well known for his Spiritual discourses and his mission to teach, inspire and guide people in the wisdom of Yogic Science.
