Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) Trust Board, its Executive Officer, and the Dharma Prachara Parishad wing of TTD has planned a unique marriage to be performed in various cities outside of Tirumala with an aim to propagate and protect Sanathana Dharma. The Devasthanam has been organizing the celestial marriage of the Lord outside of Tirumala in the name of Srinivas Kalyanam or Venkateswara Kalyanam (or Balaji Kalyanam) as a part of its mission to spread bhakti and promote spiritual values in the society.
Srinivasa (Balaji) Kalyanam will be performed in the City of Calgary on a Sunday, the 19th of August, 2012 under the auspices of Sri Anagha Datta Society of Calgary.
